Store in a cool dry place and once opened place in an airtight container. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within 3 months.

We send all orders via a DPD Tracked Next Working Day service, with a 1 hour-time slot supplied by DPD on the day.

  • On orders up to £20, delivery is £3.95.
  • On orders between £20 and £40, delivery is £5.95.
  • For all orders £40 and over delivery is FREE.

If an order is placed before 1pm Monday - Friday, we dispatch it the same day. If an order is placed after 1pm, it will be sent the next day. Any orders placed after 1pm on Thursday are dispatched the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.

The Shirgar Brandy Butter and Cointreau and Orange Mince pies were excellent. So big we had to share one. Lovely served slightly warm with Ice cream or clotted cream.

Lovely pies but 4 out of stock so was sent 8 of the same and 4 of the order. No email to say this ? only when opened the box. bit disappointed not to get the four of each !

The best mince pies

We ended up with only two out of three flavours despite ordering months ahead of shipping, but despite that these were a total success: we shared them with friends throughout the holidays and everyone loved them, especially our more 'foodie' friends. The mince pies are huge so we ended up dividing each one into quarters for a better portion size. The flavours are DIVINE (we got the brandy butter and the rum ones). Easily the best mince pies out there! We'll be buying these again.

A bit too different

Quite far from a traditional mince pie. It's mostly crumble - weirdly salty - with a tiny smear of mincemeat buried under it. They're also huge, each pie is at least 800 calories so they end up being a bit of a chore to eat.

The mince pies was more frangipan than mince and they all taste the same very disapointment with them i wont buy any more as shop ones are better

Not enough filling

I thought there was too much pastry and not enough filling for my taste. The almonds were a nice touch in the crumble. The size of the pie is too big for one person, I had to cut them in half each time. I couldn't taste the difference between flavours in the minced pie bundle.

Bakers Since 1936

The origins of our bakery date back to 1936 when Wilfred Charles Lewis, a local of Swansea & Gower, decided to start making pies for the community.

Wilfred Charles started his small bakery in a single room in Fleet Street, Sandfields. He made his pies in solid metal tins and cooled them on the pavement outside. Wilfred perfected his craft, and soon enough he gained a reputation for his delectable pies.

Today and since 2013 it’s the third generation of the Lewis family, Wilfred James Lewis, that continues to guide the business.
