I decided that give these a go despite not being a fan of brandy butter. Pastry was flaky and the topping so crumbly. Lots of filling and it just melted in your mouth. Needless to say they didn’t last long! I’ll definitely be ordering next year. I wish there was an option to pick 1 of each variation to try - maybe in the future. Don’t hesitate to give these a go!

Absolutely love these brandy butter pies and as they’re a generous size, sharing means the value is brilliant. The generous filling and crumb on the top goes perfectly with fresh cream, ice cream or custard. Usually order them from QVC, but just as easy to get them directly with no issues regarding delivery.

Fantastic mince pies

I've ordered some mince pies before from you guys and every time without fail they are lovely and tasty. The mince pies are not like normal mince pies but have a fantastic crumble top which makes them delicious. The Welsh butter makes all the difference to. They are a must try for anyone. Plus you don't get much mincemeat filling in them which can be a bit much, but you get a perfect balance with Wilfred's.

Bakers Since 1936

The origins of our bakery date back to 1936 when Wilfred Charles Lewis, a local of Swansea & Gower, decided to start making pies for the community.

Wilfred Charles started his small bakery in a single room in Fleet Street, Sandfields. He made his pies in solid metal tins and cooled them on the pavement outside. Wilfred perfected his craft, and soon enough he gained a reputation for his delectable pies.

Today and since 2013 it’s the third generation of the Lewis family, Wilfred James Lewis, that continues to guide the business.
