Store in a cool dry place and once opened place in an airtight container. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within 3 months.

We send all orders via a DPD Tracked Next Working Day service, with a 1 hour-time slot supplied by DPD on the day.

  • For all orders £40 and over delivery is FREE.

If an order is placed before 1pm Monday - Friday, we dispatch it the same day. If an order is placed after 1pm, it will be sent the next day. Any orders placed after 1pm on Thursday are dispatched the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.

You are able to select a designated delivery date on all product pages, with options of Tuesday - Friday. Based on the date selected, the order will be dispatched the day before and you will receive a confirmation email.

I was surprised at the size of these pies, much larger than the normal mince pies, so even more to enjoy. They were super and full of fruit. And topped with almonds. Will certainly buy again. Excellent quality.

These are huge and absolutely lush! Probably more than twice the size of normal mince pies so an extra special treat. Lovely pastry, flavour combo and the frangipane and crumble on top just adds the extra oomph.

After having a good pie I was very disappointed with the mince pies. Very little filling. More pastry will not buy again.

Ordered these to try on a special as I'd never had the sweet bakes before. When I received my pie order there were non in the box.

Now I understand they may have been out of stock so I rang and was told a member of staff would ring me back as she was out of the office. No reply or call just a refund to my account.
Assuming all their sweet bakes are similar would it not have made sense to talk to me as to whether I'd prefer a refund or alternative in order that I might like to taste their sweet bakes encouraging me to purchase more?
Not normally one to complain in a review but I'm not happy!!
At least a phone call would have been polite.

Now awaiting my next order of their marvellous savoury pies which, after trying mine, other family members now add to my order.

Bakers Since 1936

The origins of our bakery date back to 1936 when Wilfred Charles Lewis, a local of Swansea & Gower, decided to start making pies for the community.

Wilfred Charles started his small bakery in a single room in Fleet Street, Sandfields. He made his pies in solid metal tins and cooled them on the pavement outside. Wilfred perfected his craft, and soon enough he gained a reputation for his delectable pies.

Today and since 2013 it’s the third generation of the Lewis family, Wilfred James Lewis, that continues to guide the business.
